The Albaicin is surely popular and wonderful, but have you heard of the old Jewish district across the valley?
The Realejo is a lesser-known, residential neighborhood where the peace and the charm of past times reign. Zigzagging streets, a different perspective of the Alhambra, little white-washed houses and geranium-filled balconies are what you can expect to see on this marvelous trip to the core of Granada. The most authentic neighborhood and astonishing views will help you comprehend the morphology of the city as you admire its most representative buildings from the heights.
Apart from the cultural walk of the neighborhood and the visit to some hidden viewpoints, we will go into the Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo, a monument that inspired the architecture and decoration of the more modern Alhambra palaces.
Out of our whole offer, this tour is, probably, the most authentic one. We visit the least touristy areas, giving you the oportunity to take gorgeous shots and experience some off-the-beaten-path sections of Granada.
NOTE: Please, note that this tour involves a lot of walking, including steep hills up and down, and also steps. We don't recommend to come on this tour with strollers or little children. People who might have a hard time walking for long distances and/or steep hills due to health issues might also enjoy one of our other experiences better.
