DUE TO THE CURRENT SITUATION REGARDING CORONAVIRUS, ALL THE FOOD-RELATED EXPERIENCES WON'T BE AVAILABLE FOR THE MOMENT. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCES.
This is an experience for those who want to go a step further and get to know the city from a different point of view. You will discover Granada's past and learn about the civilisations that have lived here, visit gorgeous viewpoints and check its actual morphology as we walk the oldest part of it.
Why has Granada always been a strategic point for human civilisations to settle? What are the origins of the Albayzin? We will give an answer to these and many other questions as we go on a walking tour across hidden corners that only locals frequent. Get ready to capture the best pictures of the Alhambra and the whole town of Granada from the best miradores!
We will do a quick stop for a coffee to restore our energies, and then keep exploring the old hill of the Albaicin.
The sherry on top will be a tapas evening as we walk back to the city center in a very genuine local wine bar. You'll learn everything you need to feel confident when going tapas in crowded bars, and, which is more important, enjoy the experience! On this tour, you will give a bite to both, our culture and our gastronomy!
This tour includes 3 bites (1 sweet, 2 savory), and 3 different drinks (coffee and two different wines). The food that we have on tour are small portions of food (tapas) so it works as an appetizer rather than a full dinner and gives you an insight of nice places to go when you are exploring Granada on your own.
If you are not hungry this time, note that this tour can also take place replacing the coffee+tapas experience by a little walk across the Sacromonte, the popular gypsy town of Granada. You can find that option in the section Cultural Bites, or you can just click here!
NOTE: Please, note that this tour involves a lot of walking, including steep hills up and down, and also steps. We don't recommend to come on this tour with strollers or little children. People who might have a hard time walking for long distances and/or steep hills due to health issues might also enjoy one of our other experiences better.
